Berkhamsted Golf Club is currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Assistants to join their highly successful team. Candidates should have a warm, personable nature, a can do attitude and an eye for details.

You will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest expectations.

You will be knowledgeable in both food and bar service procedures and will be responsible for ensuring that billing is accurate.

As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. In this  industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player, willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

What are we looking for?

Sous Chef

UP TO £24000 per annum 

Berkhamsted Golf Club are looking for an experienced Sous chef

We have a vacancy for a Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef. You will be working as part of the team to efficiently manage the day to day catering operation to develop the business to maximize revenues, Profit and customer Service and With a passion for food the role is mainly responsible for food preparation and service but assisting in other areas if required. Together with the Head Chef you would be involved in menu development, ideas for business improvement and control of costs. The right candidate must be able to work weekends and evenings as part of agreed shift rota.

Berkhamsted Golf Club is situated in Hertfordshire and we offer a beautifully presented 18-hole golf course with stunning views of the surrounding woodland and countryside


  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in quality, restaurants, hotels or golf club
  • Ability to deal with a high volume of customers,
  •  Financial acumen for stock counts and dish costing to deliver GP's to target
  • The ability to run and control numerous functions at one time as well as control the team


  1. Up to £24K for the right candidate as Sous chef
