Mixed Greensomes (1) Rules

FORMAT: 18 hole American Greensomes stableford competitions for mixed pairs of full members May include a Junior playing with an adult. (if not a parent, a letter of parental consent will be required) Score using the Ladies' pars and stroke indices All players should putt out – no gimmies. On par 4s and 5s, both partners tee off, then both play the other's ball for 2nd shot. After that 1 ball is chosen to be continued with, played alternately by both partners. (i.e if 2nd shot played by man is chosen, the lady plays the 3rd, the man the 4th etc) On par 3s, both partners tee off then choice is made as to which ball is continued with, and played alternately. Best 6 out of 10 scores will be winning pair TEES: Men/Junior boys: YELLOW Ladies/Junior girls: RED HANDICAP INDEX LEVEL: Men/Junior boys maximum 28.2 = yellow Course Handicap 30 Ladies/Junior girls maximum 31.3 = red Course Handicap 38 PLAYING HANDICAP: 60% of lower plus 40% of higher relevant course handicaps ENTRY FEE: £5.00 per team  PRIZES: Winners: Trophy plus engraved memento
