The Berkhamsted Trophy R1 Rules
A 72 Hole Men’s Scratch Stroke Play Competition open to male amateur golfers and played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and Club Local Rules. 18 holes on days 1 and 2 followed by a cut, after which the top 50 players plus ties will compete over an additional 36 holes on day 3. In the event of a tie, the Competition shall be decided by "sudden death" stroke-play play off, commencing at the 1st hole, continuing to the 2nd hole and repeating as necessary. The first player to win a hole outright shall be declared the winner. If poor light prevents a play-off, the prize will be shared. Other prizes will be adjusted accordingly.
