Berkhamsted Golf Course is one of those places that if you have never played before you will add to your list of golfing discoveries and one you must play again.
If you have played it before you will have either been back or are planning to. Free of sand bunkers it provides a unique challenge that over the years has seen our very best golfers put themselves to the test on the amateur circuit before they turned professional. These include Sandy Lyle, Luke Donald, Graeme Storme, Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood and many others. Many amateurs at the top of their game will include Peter McEvoy and Gary Wolstenholme.
It is unique, it is a great test of golf and if you enjoy a natural and challenging golf course you will love this one. Colt and Braid excelled when they put their touch to this all those years ago.
