Berkhamsted Golf Club is a Members' Club which combines traditions with a modern outlook.

Men

If you would like to be considered then you need to complete an Application Form , duly signed by two members of three years’ standing. If you are moving into the area and do not know any members, then please email or write to the General Manager giving some information about yourself and your golfing credentials, and we will arrange for an introduction with two committee members.

Ladies & Juniors

There are vacancies – please call the Club Manager's Office on 01442 865832 or email admin@berkhamstedgc.co.uk . There is currently no entrance fee for new Lady Members.

Ladies' Academy Membership

If you’ve always wanted to give golf a go but don’t know how, or don’t currently have a handicap, this initiative is the perfect solution. It offers you the opportunity to give it a try while achieving a handicap over an agreed timespan, thus allowing you to combine learning golf with personal or work commitments. Throughout your Academy Membership you will be supported and encouraged by a mentor and the Club Professional. Upon gaining your handicap full club membership is an option with the choice of playing during the week or, for those who work during the week, there is a thriving Business Ladies' Section playing at the weekend. Our Club Professional's team provides tailor-made individual and group lessons for ladies.

Ladies' group lessons

Ladies' group lessons allow ladies who are new to golf a chance to give it a go, or even for ladies who are already playing who would like to meet other ladies to socialise with. If you are interested in these lessons please contact the Pro Shop. Click here to see an example.

Social

For those people who don’t play golf but would like the benefits associated within a club, we offer the perfect alternative. From dining evenings to Sunday lunches to members' free draw evenings we offer a variety of options for the non-golfer and their guests. The Club has a lively Choir, and a large screen video projector which screens films and major sporting events: all these activities complement our fine restaurant and bar facilities. Members are also be entitled to a discount of 20% on drinks bought at the bar.

Social memberships are currently available at a charge of £336 per year.
